The Code of Ethics
ASTM subscribed the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs), promoted by the United Nations Global Compact to guide companies towards gender parity in employment, on the market and in the community.
ASTM CEO Umberto Tosoni has signed the Italian version of the CEO Guide for Human Rights of the WBCSD (World Business Council for Sustainable Development).
Road safety is the basic element of the sustainability of any transport system and is traditionally a point which identifies and qualifies the role and the action of motorway operators.
Safety is a priority for the operators of the ASTM Group: the ASTM staff are committed daily to monitoring the traffic, intervening in the event of emergencies, protecting vehicles which break down on the road, activating the chain of control-command and information and managing the traffic and emergencies.
Prevention plays a central role in the management of the safety policies. For this reason the ASTM Group has devised Autostradafacendo, a campaign which places great trust in man, focussing on the fact that a better informed driver will behave in a more virtuous manner, fostering his or her own safety as well as that of others.
