ASTM at the University of Turin: the world of motorway concessions explained to students

The “Cognetti de Martiis” Department of Economics and Statistics of the University of Turin offers to third year students, therefore those nearing graduation, the opportunity to approach in a tangible manner the corporate world. Thanks to the initiative of Prof. Franco Gaboardi and Dr. Paolo Manzone, the students participate in a series of lessons held by professionals from outside the institution, with the dual objective to enter into contact with companies that could welcome them at the end of their studies and to understand the system logic and the more operational aspects of business, supported by notions of an historical-descriptive character. These didactic integrations represent for all intents and purposes a subject for examination, underlining the importance of the lectures that are of technical and managerial character, provided in form of testimonials of managers that apply their knowledge to operations daily.

Roberto Sanino, our Director of Management Planning and Control, brought his experience from ASTM to present to the students the complex world of the motorway concessions, with a focus on the tariff system. For the Group, which has always been attentive to young people and committed to hire recent graduates to accompany its growth and project itself into the future, the involvement at the University of Turin fits well within our broad action plan dedicated to the new generations.
