Visit FAI properties in autumn: an invitation to experience the beauty of Italy
27 October 2025In autumn, the landscapes are alight with warm colours, and places and cities of art seem to breathe new magic. In this season, the properties of FAI – Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano (the National Trust for Italy) become even more evocative, ready to welcome those who want to be enchanted by history, art and nature. From the silence of the woods to the palaces that house centuries of art, every visit becomes an exciting journey into the heart of Italy.
For fifty years, FAI has been protecting and making historical, artistic and landscape heritage accessible, thanks to the support of a large community of individuals and companies who believe in the value of shared beauty. The ASTM Group also supports FAI as a member of ‘I 200 del FAI’, a group of companies and patrons founded in 1987. The aim is to offer real support to an extraordinary project: to effectively protect and enhance Italy’s precious historical, landscape and cultural heritage, which is among the richest in the world.
From the FAI’s 2024 report, here are the concrete figures: 74 properties managed and enhanced, 8.6 million square metres of protected landscape and 17,790 square metres of decorated surfaces and restored frescoes.
