The ASTM Group is included in CDP’s ‘A list’ and confirms its leadership in the fight against climate change

ASTM has reaffirmed its position as a global leader in climate-related management and transparency, earning a place in CDP ’s prestigious “A List” (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project), the highest recognition awarded by the leading international non-profit organization for measuring and reporting environmental impacts on climate, water, and forests.

ASTM is therefore confirmed in the “Leadership” tier for its global environmental performance in the 2025 climate disclosure, improving its score compared to 2024 (A-). CDP’s assessment was conducted on thousands of companies using a rigorous methodology that assigns scores from A to D- and evaluates four key dimensions: completeness of reporting, awareness of environmental risks, risk management, and adoption of environmental leadership practices.

A decisive factor in achieving this result was ASTM’s Climate Transition Plan. Developed in line with CDP guidelines and the requirements of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), the Plan is fully integrated into the Group’s Business Plan, concretely guiding decisions and investments. Based on scenario analyses and a structured portfolio of decarbonization initiatives, the Plan outlines a long-term emissions reduction pathway, with ambitious medium-term targets and Net Zero by 2050 for direct, indirect, and value-chain emissions.

Adding to this achievement is the upgrade of ASTM’s Long Term Expected Rating to EEE- (Excellent) and the confirmation of its EE+ (Very Strong) rating, recently assigned by Standard Ethics, an independent rating agency, in recognition of the Group’s commitment to ESG issues and the dissemination of UN-, OECD- and EU-based sustainability principles to its subsidiaries in Brazil and the United States. Moreover, in November 2025, MSCI—a leading global rating agency assessing companies’ resilience to financially material and sector-specific ESG risks and opportunities—maintained ASTM in the A band (Average). Finally, Sustainalytics, a global sustainability research and rating agency, assigned ASTM an ESG Risk Rating of 7.5 (Negligible), assessing as negligible the economic value potentially at risk due to ESG factors not managed by the company.

These recognitions reward the Group’s commitment to pursuing global business objectives by combining growth, innovation and responsibility, creating shared value for all stakeholders.
